As Projects Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a selection of projects within the Worsley Capital Portfolio which are well-planned and cost-effective in delivering solutions that meet business requirements, through strong leadership and collaboration with stakeholders and suppliers.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
Ensure that all projects are developed and delivered from concept to closeout in accordance with the South32 project management framework;Single point project leadership in delivering projects to approved scope, timeframes and budgetsProvide safety leadership throughout the project life cycle that is aligned to the South32 values;Ensure all project design and execution risks are identified and well managedABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Several years' experience in delivering projects of varying complexity and budget ($500k to $5M) throughout the full project lifecycle in a brownfields environment within the resources industryA sound technical knowledge and understanding of mining and resources projectsProven experience in developing and managing schedules and budgets & business financial evaluationExperienced with MS Suite and MS Project;Qualifications for this position are: Engineering or technical trade qualification within Electrical, Process or Mechanical disciplines highlySouth32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
