About the role:
The Digital Innovation team is currently seeking a Specialist Process Automation to join them on a Monday - Friday Roster based at Perth.
Reporting to Principal Process Automation, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and accuracy of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and managing the ServiceNow platform within Roy Hill's IT services and support.
The Specialist Process Automation works closely with the ITSM team to ensure that the CMDB is aligned with the organization's IT strategy and meets the needs of the business.
They are also responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting the ServiceNow platform, ServiceNow Discovery, and automating IT service management processes to improve efficiency.
This role plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of the entire ServiceNow platform.
Duties:
Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of the CMDB to ensure that it is customized and configured to meet the requirements of Roy Hill.
Implement, manage, and support the ServiceNow platform, including ServiceNow Discovery, to automate IT service management processes and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with the ITSM team to ensure that the CMDB and other IT processes are integrated with the ServiceNow platform.
Monitor the performance of the ServiceNow platform to ensure it meets the needs of Roy Hill.
Ensure the ServiceNow platform is secure and compliant in line with Roy Hill's standards.
Provide training and support to both Technology staff and Roy Hill end users on how to effectively use the ServiceNow platform.
Provide presentations and/or demonstrations of ServiceNow platform activities to visiting customers or stakeholders as required.
Skills and Experience:
Experience working with CMDB health, ServiceNow platform management, and IT service management processes, preferably in a mining or similar industry.
Experience in supporting the implementation, management, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform, including ServiceNow Discovery.
General knowledge of the mining industry and the underlying and emerging technologies.
ITIL Foundation.
Familiar with ServiceNow Strategic Management Portfolio Module.
Relevant ITOM or ServiceNow vendor certification.
