Department of Treasury and Finance Revenue, Gaming and Licensing Division Liquor and Gaming Branch Applications must be submitted by Sunday 18 August, 2024 11:55 PM Position details Applications close: Sunday 18 August, 2024 11:55 PM AEST Award/Classification: Tasmanian State Service Award - General Stream Band 7 Salary: $125,536.00 to $132,125.00 pro rata, per annum Employment type: Fixed-term, flexible, Fixed-term, full-time, Fixed-term, part-time Region: South Location: Hobart Job description: This role undertakes research, investigation and analysis of data and complex issues to support projects, the formulation of policy proposals, and provide specialist advice on revenue, gaming and liquor matters.
Period of Appointment 18 Months Hours per fortnight Up to 73.5 - hours flexible - talk to us about how this could work for you.
We are open to considering a range of flexible work options including part-time hours.
Duties You will work across areas and issues in the Revenue, Gaming and Licensing Division to lead and undertake research, investigation and analysis of data and complex issues to develop policy responses and advice.
You will be flexible and able to apply your skills and knowledge to new areas to quickly understand key issues, identify possible solutions and provide specialist advice to senior managers and teams.
You will be proactive in providing support to the Minister, the Tasmanian Liquor and Gaming Commission, the Commissioner for Licensing and Commissioner for State Revenue in the development of policy responses and advice and will communicate effectively to influence outcomes.
