Department of HealthCommunity, Mental Health & WellbeingCMHW - Public Health ServicesApplications must be submitted by Sunday 02 February, 2025 11:55 PM AESTAward/Classification:Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement, Allied Health Professional, Level 3Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 per annumEmployment type:Full TimeRegion:SouthLocation:Level 14, 108-110 Collins StThe Department of Health is seeking applications for a fixed term full-time Specialist Pharmacist - Information Management to join the Public Health Services team.The Role:The primary purpose of this newly created role is to provide information and data management support for the Pharmaceutical Services Branch through established procedures and guidance of the Senior Pharmacist - Information Technology, focusing on the ongoing support of the national Real Time Prescription Monitoring system and other regulatory systems.Some of the duties include:Support the day-to-day operations of the health and regulatory information technology applications of the Pharmaceutical Services Branch.Provide specialist support to internal and external stakeholders.Identify opportunities for system modifications and/or configuration changes.Maintain system data integrity and provide information system reports.Contribute to implementation and review of policies and quality assurance documentation.Undertake systems testing including user acceptance testing.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Details of appointment:Fixed term full-time position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2026.Applicants should note that this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies.Salary:$110,425 to $121,907 per annum.
