Golding is seeking a full-time Specialist Payroll SAP Advisor to join our HR team based in Milton

Golding is seeking a full-time Specialist Payroll (SAP) Advisor to join our HR team based in Milton.
Reporting to the HR Manager (Services), the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full range technical support to the Payroll function. You will be enthusiastic, motivated to succeed and have a high attention to detail. Experience in a projects-based organisation along with the ability to dealing with confidential and sensitive business matters will be an advantage. A proactive and organised work style along with strong interpersonal and communication skills will be essential for role success.
Golding have flexible working conditions allowing you to work from the Brisbane office or from home.
You will be required to: Review the effectiveness of current payroll systems to recommend improvements; Work with your Manager and the Payroll Superintendent to design a full set of payroll systems; Implement the payroll systems by delivering training; Undertake reconciliations, lodgements and payments periodically as required (i.e. Payroll Tax, Superannuation, Coal LSL Levy, QLeave, Workcover etc.); Provide support to Finance as required with regard to queries and reporting; Produce adhoc payroll reports for Golding Managers where authorised by your Manager; Participate in external audits, including preparation of necessary information to the auditors; Provide advice and assistance to the Payroll Superintendent and Payroll team where necessary to support the delivery of an effective payroll administration service and to further enhance the capability of the payroll team; Work with the Payroll Superintendent such that Golding's obligations and requirements with respect to Single Touch Payroll (STP), Superannuation and the SAP Organisational Structure are met; Work with the Payroll Superintendent and Business System team members to implement authorised improvements in payroll administration systems (e.g. SAP configuration), including necessary user acceptance testing prior to implementation; Work with the Payroll Superintendent such that a program of internal audits is routinely conducted for effective governance, making recommendations to your Manager as necessary; Manage the preparation of all Payroll reports, except those prepared by the Payroll Superintendent, such that they are accurately prepared and submitted to the required standard and timeframe; and Undertake tasks associated with the SAP HR/Payroll upgrades, including regulatory changes. You will have: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in SAP Payroll is essential; Experience in a similar role within the mining and civil construction industry is preferred; Ability to build effective interpersonal relationships at all levels across the business; Demonstrated 'hands on' approach and a high attention to detail is essential; Solution focused with strong influencing skills; Excellent stakeholder management, engagement and communication skills.
