The Specialist Operator – AELEC is responsible for: Operating and maintaining mobile and fixed plant for horticulture and building maintenance Operating and maintaining a range of equipment eg. Specialist mowers, backhoe and front end loaders, forklift, tractor with multiple and varying implements, trucks, water carts. Controlling traffic around the worksite Stock handling skill and knowledge and understanding of stock behaviour Maintenance of property, buildings, structures, grounds and associated infrastructure; including buildings, yards and fencing, lawns and gardens including irrigation, plumbing and electrical Implementing horticultural operational practices Working effectively with others Using a range of communication skills in the workplace Delivering a service to customers Understanding and carrying out instructions Monitoring and maintaining a safe workplace TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED Certificate III in Civil Construction, Horticulture, Plant or similar OR significant relevant experience in functions associated with this position WHS Construction Induction Manual Driver Licence INTERESTED?
