This is an initial 6-month contract position and is an opportunity to continue your career with a respected player in the mining industry.
This role would operate Monday - Friday Perth residents only, paid 8 hours per day and at a competitive hourly rate.
About The Role Accountable to project manage the execution of Supply Chain Management operational readiness deliverables for projects, with particular focus on management of Warehousing, Inventory and Logistics impacts.
Key Responsibilities

Applies an understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain to enhance efficiency, drive optimisation and maximise value.
Drives optimisation of inventory levels with a focus on improving inventory working capital and ensuring compliance with material preservation requirements
Conduct inventory analysis for input into material master data set-up including cataloguing, criticality assessment, stocking strategy establishment
Applies logistics management procedures and requirements to safely and efficiently meet stakeholder demands.
Balances customer requirements with capability of Supply Chain to ensure required materials are available for use
Identifies and assesses risks, makes risk informed decisions, using risk management framework and builds a risk aware culture to support safe and productive performance outcomes.
Ensure adherence to WIL functional requirements
Sources information, plans and conducts analyses to support evidence based decision making.
Engages the capabilities of the entire organisation.
Align all work around performance of the respective value stream, including suppliers and customers
Understand the standard of work and the manner of completing it that will ultimately meet the expectations of customers (on time delivery, meeting quality specifications, etc.)
Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.
Conducts site visits on a periodic basis to build relationships with Projects and Warehouse Operations stakeholders to drive achievement of business outcomes.

About You

Experience in the natural resources industry, including operations, supply chain management, project management or reliability.
Understanding of Inventory & Work Management processes
Demonstrated experience with Inventory Analytics, Optimisation & Strategy
Bias to action, attention to detail, with strong organisation and effective communication skills are essential characteristics to succeed in this role.

In addition, you will possess the following skills:

Fluent in Microsoft Office products including excel, SAP experience highly beneficial.
Tertiary Qualification and/or Certificates, preferably in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Logistics or Warehouse Management
Supply chain management, business or engineering would be advantageous
