Full-time permanent position based at our Mascot, Sydney Campus.

Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Specialist Navigation Operations, you will be responsible for:
Undertaking detailed analysis and assessment of large volumes of aeronautical information and data.Understanding and determining the effects on the company route structure and flight planning requirements, ensuring the company route structure is maintained as per regulatory requirements.Updating the flight planning system with changes to aircraft details, set heading fuel requirements, arrival allowance details, cost index information and routes changes.Validating and authorising Flight Management Computer databases and Airport Moving Map databases for operational use.Managing the transfer of these databases to Engineering in accordance with the monthly Navdata cycle for loading onto aircraft.Additional ResponsibilitiesSupport charter operations & ad hoc flights by facilitating sector set ups, and conducting research to ensure the operations comply with all regulatory and operational constraints.Coordinate the seasonal over-flight procurement process, securing the requisite permissions that support the planned route operations across the Qantas network.Participate in the development and management of company related enhancements associated with the role to support our customers and to drive route efficiency.Minimum RequirementsTo be considered for this position, ideally, you'll have:
Experience in either Flight Dispatch, Navigation or Business Support within Flight Operations.Experience managing complex data.Ability to think in an analytical way and find solutions.Ability to follow process / process driven.An understanding of relevant regulation and policies.We're committed to helping you build your career.
