About the role Join Rio Tinto's Engineering Services team to provide support and assistance to the implementation of asset management programmes / projects / engagements of work.
In this role, you will support the implementation of the discipline Engineering framework, ensuring safe, cost effective and reliable design and installations are implemented and maintained.
Reporting to the Principal Engineering Services, you will be responsible for : Development and implementation of asset management systems for mine water management assets Develop and monitor the implementation and compliance to discipline specific engineering standards Development and execution of mine water management asset strategy including 5 year capital planning Provide technical discipline support to projects and operation / maintenance functions Coach, mentor and train building capability within sites Collaborate with Business Units and Sites to share learnings / support replication opportunities Technical oversight of relevant equipment supply contracts and continuous improvement What you'll bring To be successfully considered for this role, you will have: Previous experience in mine water management/dewatering operations and maintenance Demonstrable experience in whole-of-life asset management; Strong interpersonal skills, including good oral and written skills; Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, able to build relationships with partners in a complex, matrix organisation; Strong ability to positively influence people in an organisation; Ability to successfully manage competing priorities Engineering degree qualification or applicable trade (preferred but not essential) Current 'C' Class Driver's License (Manual) A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset If you are excited about the role and think you have what it takes but your experience doesn't align 100% we still want to hear from you.
