About the role Orica is looking to hire a Specialist Maintenance Systems who will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Orica's Asset Management maintenance systems.
This position aims to support and advise project teams (PMO), site representatives, and reliability teams in maintaining data quality, consistency, and security. It also involves aligning with systems and processes and promoting continuous improvement in accordance with Orica's global standards and compliance requirements for Asset Maintenance.
In addition, this position requires giving direct coaching and assistance to Master Data Specialists, the Global Master Data Organisation (MDO) office, and Maintenance Managers at all Continuous Manufacturing sites.
What you will be doing Support Maintenance Systems and Governance requests by providing guidance, templates, and gathering necessary information for initiatives like Maintenance Strategy Optimisations (MSOs). Train local personnel, monitor request prioritization, and ensure smooth communication between local and offshore teams. Work with project teams to define data needs for Capital projects, ensure compliance with data standards, and serve as a link between local teams and overseas support. Ensure high SHEQ compliance by maintaining safe work systems, reviewing incidents for ERP compliance, auditing maintenance data, and advising on improvement opportunities while promoting best practices across teams and business units. What you will bring 10+ years of experience with SAP Asset Management processes and systems. Skilled in technical data requirements for SAP CMMS and able to learn new software systems (e.g., SAP 4S Hana, Fiori, LSMW). Beneficial qualifications: trade or relevant engineering, experience in Planning and Scheduling, and interpreting technical drawings and P&IDs. Cooperative team player with strong communication skills and the ability to identify and articulate work issues. High integrity, ethics, personal values, and a strong safety ethic. Strong time management, resilience, flexibility, teamwork, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage Master Data projects independently.
