Within the context of a Catholic school, the Specialist Literacy Teacher (K-12) is an advocate for principles of exemplary practice to ensure the programs offered at the College are impactful and respond at the point of need for all students.
Working in collaboration with the Head of Learning Diversity (K-12), the Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning, the Head of Learning (K-6) and classroom teachers, the Specialist Literacy Teacher (K-12) will contribute to the strategic approach to literacy intervention and personalised learning in response to the ever-increasing diversity of our young people through evidence-based supports and programs.
This will include supporting small groups of students in targeted and structured lessons, focusing on the foundations of synthetic phonics, reading and writing fluency.
About You Our ideal candidate will be appropriately qualified, hold current TRBWA registration and WWC clearance in addition to:
