We are seeking a motivated Senior Specialist in Passenger Cars and Electric vehicles (EVs) to join our Strategic Alliances Team to:
Conduct strategic analysis regarding vehicle availability and prices. Develop strong relationships with all the suppliers of light vehicles, upfitters, EVs infrastructure and others. Build and maintain strong partnerships with OEMs and dealers. Monitor, analyze and supervise supplier network performance in all the categories. Provide monthly reports and provide recommendations for RFPs and other requests for quotes. Elaborate and update contracts, NDAs and annexes. Effectively partner with key internal stakeholders (legal, commercial, customer care, acquisitions, finance) to develop and execute strategies and support ongoing sourcing activities. Bring timely and useful insights and analytical support. Essential functions: Track and provide strong analysis of RFPs, requests of quotations and system requirements. Responsible to execute special projects (timelines, product availability, prices and others). Communicate recommendations to senior management and executives. Be the main contact with suppliers for all the categories. Monitor and control of budget (light vehicles, upfitters and EVs infrastructure). Develop and build the relationship with OEMs by: Monthly reviews of products, services and volume. Prices and special promotions. Discount policies. Organize strategic business meetings. Seek opportunities of new launches and industry trends that could impact our business. Supervise and control financial performance of internal targets related to light vehicles category. Assure suppliers nationwide coverage. Develop charging infrastructure supplier for EVs: residential and depot chargers. Build and maintain upfitters network. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or other related fields. +7 years of experience. 1-2 years working in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain management and/or procurement. Experience working with suppliers in the automotive industry. Understanding of the Automotive Industry in Mexico. Proficient in English (written and spoken). Advanced Excel skills. Knowledge and Competencies: Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong communication and presentation skills. Strategic thinker and proactive approach to problem solving. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
