The role The Specialist - Internal and Change Communications is a key role within the business, using communication to foster an engaged, informed and inspired workplace where our people feel connected to our vision, purpose and strategy.
Reporting to the Lead – Internal and Change Communications, this role offers the chance to work closely with a variety of stakeholders to plan and deliver integrated internal and change communications programs, events, and leadership communications.
What you'll get up to Develop and implement internal and change communications strategies and initiatives.Provide strategic communications advice for internal programs and change initiatives.Contribute to annual content calendar through the creation of stories that inform and inspire.Support RetireAustralia's communications response to crises and issues as they arise, and with the support of key external providers as required.Build enduring relationships with colleagues in the Communications team and with key stakeholders to create effective and engaging communications.Support planning and execution of internal events, including our bi-annual conference and much more!We're on the lookout for someone with: 5 years experience in internal and change communicationsHighly developed visual, verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detailA flexible approach and willingness to learnTeam player with a positive, confident approach to working with peopleTechnically savvy and proficient in Microsoft applicationsIdeally hold a tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations or a related fieldWho we are RetireAustralia is a leading private owner, operator and developer of retirement villages with a focus on creating thriving communities where older Australians live the life they choose in their own homes.
