Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine (Fractional)Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery, improvement, research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.
About the DepartmentWe are a state-wide provider of rehabilitation for patients following acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multi-trauma and amputation. Our Rehabilitation teams play an important leadership role in the provision of services to patients living with disability, and oversee the delivery of care of Alfred Health rehabilitation registered NDIS service providers.
About the RoleApplications are invited for the position of Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine (Fractional) at Alfred Health to work 17.5 hours per week.
Qualifications and Skills RequiredLegally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice.Fellow of the relevant college.Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Rehabilitation Medicine.Meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Rehabilitation Medicine.Outstanding communication skills, including well-developed conflict resolution skills.Ability to liaise well with other staff at all levels.Demonstrated flexibility in problem solving and the capability to develop and sustain highly collaborative relationships with others/other teams.EnquiriesDr Mithu Palit, Head Acquired Brain Injury Service via email ****** Applications close: Tuesday 26th November 2024
