An exciting opportunity for an experienced, specialist financial analyst looking to support the Government's financial management, accounting, budgeting, and reporting functions.
This role will allow you to develop your leadership and communication skills in the Tasmanian public sector.

Use your specialist contemporary research and accounting skills to advise the Government and public sector on financial management.Understand complex issues and find solutions to financial management, accounting, and financial reporting issues.Analyse and interpret accounting and financial management frameworks and advise on current accounting issues.You will be expected to research, develop, and contribute to contemporary financial management policies and practices in the Tasmanian public sector and build networks within Treasury and the public sector community.
This opportunity is based in Treasury's Government Finance and Accounting Branch, which monitors and reports on finances at both an agency and whole-of-government level and develops and implements financial management policy advice for the General Government Sector.
