The role involves directly responding to clients who present in crisis, providing immediate support to clients requiring risk assessment, safety planning, as well as referrals and supportive monitoring and follow-up. You will work collaboratively with team members, other agencies, and organisations to develop appropriate and innovative responses to prevent violence within the Redlands Community. The role reports to the Assessment and Response Team Leader within a dynamic and collaborative team.
Salary and Benefits SCHADS Level 5.1 ($49.28p/h) | Full time (38 Hours Per Week) | $97337 annuallyFull-time contract until 31.12.2026A supportive induction process and in-house training about the meaningful work we do to support our clients through DFV and improve their wellbeing.Salary Packaging up to $15,900 (superannuation can be paid in addition to this, subject to any ATO limit if any).A supportive and warm team culture and working environment where we help one another out, learn from one another, and have a lot of fun and laughs.Experience and Qualifications Qualifications Essential - Tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, or human services (alongside relevant experience) received from a recognised university.
Experience Essential - Demonstrated experience and comprehensive knowledge of Domestic and Family Violence and high-risk indicators, and its effect on women, children, and the wider community, and demonstrated understanding of and experience working within current legislation (Domestic and Family Violence Act 2012).
Preferred - Demonstrated experience and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
