Supporting our Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) & Facilities Management category, you will take a hands-on approach to developing and delivering contract packages and contracting strategies focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for our business.
Duties: Lead the management of contracts, focusing on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contractor performance measurement, analysis, and improvement.Utilise sound commercial judgment in applying contractual terms and conditions.Provide commercial and contractual support across the business, ensuring value delivery through performance improvement, a Total Cost of Ownership focus, and effective contract management.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted contract expert, adept in commercial support, vendor negotiations, and ongoing contract management.Oversee Supplier Relationship Management, collaborating closely with project teams and cross-functional stakeholders, including travel to site.Provide comprehensive contract life-cycle support, encompassing all contractual and commercial activities, and develop and implement well-defined category strategies.Skills and experience Demonstrable NPI, Technical or Engineering contract experience.Extensive experience in contracts or category management within mining or comparable industry such as metals, oil and gas, chemical industry.Ability to develop and maintain constructive and collaborative working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Solutions focused with the ability to develop strong working relationships and influence positive outcomes.Specific experience developing sourcing strategies, RFx's, and contract negotiation.Strong computer literacy, written skills, including drafting of internal and contract artifacts (e.g. drafting concise award recommendations, drafting contract conditions, drafting contract correspondence and variations).Creative thinker with regards to the future of procurement, including but not limited to exposure to AI.Perth ROC Facilities Free on-site parking at remote operational centre (ROC).Modern spacious office with break-out facilities.In-house café providing variety of hot & cold food options and barista coffee.Flexi Leave available to all Perth based office staff.Flexible working hours outside of core business hours.Active social club with community events and activities for employees.Lifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your family.About Roy Hill Roy Hill is a world class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.
