Your New Role Asthe Specialist Consultant -Defined Benefit, you will independently manage allaspects of the Defined Benefit product administration. This includes the end-to-enddelivery of the Defined Benefit (DB) and Lifetime Pension (LTP) products.
Youwill provide technical expertise to the role and support the Team Coach as apoint of escalation for complex queries from the Member Solutions team, ServiceCentre and Adviser network.
****Please note, this role is being offered as a 6 month contract . The successfulcandidate can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne locations. We currentlywork 2 days in the office and 3 days from home**** How do you exceed our expectations? Ourideal candidate will have significant experience working in the financialservices sector with demonstrated experience in Defined Benefit and LifetimePensions products and experience in large scale registry transition.
Inaddition, you will have;
Extensive knowledge of superannuation industry products and services, especially Defined Benefit; Ability to interpret Defined Benefit calculation methodologies; Ability to understand, interpret and apply superannuation and tax legislation and related policy of governing bodies (ATO, Centrelink, ASIC, APRA); Deep understanding and working knowledge of the superannuation and retirement rules and regulations that underpin the products and services supported in super and retirement, specifically the specialist products – Defined Benefit,
Lifetime Pensions, Term Allocation Pensions, Guaranteed Income and non-superannuation (investment funds); Knowledge of SuperStream and clearing house capabilities; Ability to work co-operatively in a team environment and liaise with a diverse range of people
