Your New Role Reporting to the Manager of Communications in Adelaide, the Specialist Communications role is currently available for an experienced communications professional offered as a 9-month fixed-term contract. This position will involve developing quality content, creating and implementing communications plans, and acting as a trusted adviser and business partner. Key Accountabilities Develop and deliver day-to-day employee and stakeholder communications with a strong editorial focus. Create compelling content for social media. Drive the creation of video and photographic content. Identify proactive communication opportunities. Develop and implement effective communication strategies to meet business needs. Serve as a reliable strategic communications business partner. Identify emerging risks or issues that could impact BHP's reputation. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve measurable results. What You'll Need to Succeed Excellent writing skills across all channels. Strong understanding of digital tools and platforms, both internal and external. Experience in video production and photography. Effective business partnering skills. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to collaborate and build strong professional networks.
