Role Overview
We're seeking a passionate specialist to empower AOD practitioners within the eastern catchment to better identify and respond to family violence. Based in our SURe (Substance Use Recovery) Team in Ringwood, you'll play a key role in bridging the gap between AOD services and family violence support, helping to ensure earlier recognition and intervention for those affected.
Strategic Focus
Enhance collaboration between AOD, family violence, and mental health services.
Improve family violence assessment, intervention, and workforce capability in the AOD sector.
Identify emerging trends and drive systemic changes in service delivery.
Support the implementation of the Royal Commission's recommendations on family violence.
Build AOD sector capacity in family violence response.
Provide secondary consultations to staff working with victims/survivors.
Facilitate MARAM alignment and regional collaboration.
Engage in professional development, team meetings, and community networking.

Qualifications
Who You Are
You hold a Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification.
Significant experience in the family violence service system; AOD sector knowledge is a plus.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and networking skills.
Culturally aware, client-focused, and collaborative.
Ability to manage stress, practice self-care, and adapt to changing priorities.
