Special Serviceperson - Development - George Fisher Mine

The RoleWe are looking for a results-focused and ambitious individual to join us in the role of a Special Serviceperson within the Mine Development department. Reporting to the Development Supervisor, you will be required to conduct face preps, and install or repair mine services including vent ducting, 2" and 4'' poly. Previous experience in conducting face preps and operating a Volvo and/or CAT IT would be highly desirable. The roster for this role is on a 7 on 7 off day and night continuous shift.The successful candidate will be responsible for: A high quality face preparation inspection to enable safe face drilling. Safe high quality services installation. Engaging with a number of department stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. The successful candidate will possess: Hold a current Australian Licence Hard working, reliable and able to work unsupervised Strong focus on completing the job safely and compliantly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent trouble-shooting & problem solving skills Flexible approach and adaptable to change with a high attention to detail Good time management skills and able to work well under pressure Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
