The Project Manager will oversee projects from conception to completion, including scoping and structuring projects, developing schedules for project delivery, engaging across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, researching and developing sustainability/ESG content, and managing project delivery including management of external consultants (budget, timeframes, and scope).As part of program expansion, the Special Projects Manager will also be responsible for progressing partnerships to extend the program with new stakeholders, industries, and locations.Key Responsibilities:Manage a range of special projects including technical and content delivery, management of budgets, and schedules.Manage sub-consultants and coordinate multi-stakeholder engagement and co-design activities.Develop and maintain enduring relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Stay updated on emerging trends, regulations, grants, and best practices in sustainability to provide relevant and innovative recommendations to program managers to enhance program delivery and relevance.Respond to external information and data requests in a timely manner.What We Are Looking For:Experience managing projects in a corporate project management role or policy officer role.Experience, knowledge, and capability working in a sustainability or sustainability-related role.Competent researcher with experience translating complex issues into simple language.Outcomes-driven with a passion for achieving sustainable impact.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, reliability, time management, and attention to detail.A strong collaborator and relationship builder who enjoys working with others, developing partnerships, and strengthening relationships to drive new business opportunities.A critical thinker with the ability to analyse complex problems and make evidence-based and data-led decisions.Highly motivated and driven.Preferably a bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, business, economics, social sciences, or related fields.A strong understanding and capabilities across the ESG spectrum with knowledge of sustainability reporting and metrics.Knowledge and understanding of digital platforms and digital development is highly regarded.What We Can Offer You:A diversity of interesting work.A role in a purpose-driven organisation.The opportunity to work with and build relationships with a broad range of stakeholders across industry and Government.End of trip facilities for office days.How to Apply:Your application should include:ResumeCover letter that addresses the 'role responsibilities' and 'What we are looking for'A statement that best describes your right to work in Australia.Interview Process:Shortlisting and phone screening will commence immediately.
