They are seeking Qualified Teachers to step into the classroom and support school-aged students by providing programs that will engage and support students with moderate to profound intellectual disability.

Understand the importance of team collaboration with an emphasis on supporting students and their families to have a positive impact on their lives THE ROLE: Preparation and delivery of programs that engage and are personalised to support individual student needs Align classes with individual learning and pathway plans in collaboration with a great team of teachers and professionals support students with a range of learning needs and intellectual disabilities on a daily basis Assessing and Reporting student progress and continuous adjustment to learning plans for students Build positive relationships with students, families and the wider community that guides them to achieve success Engage students in a small classroom setting of 6-8 students working alongside support teachers/ OT's and Speech Pathologists and other professionals ABOUT YOU: Registered VIT Primary OR Secondary (or eligible) Compassionate, Kind and Patient Willing to grow and develop professionally Qualified Primary or Secondary Teacher Positive approach to learning and development Team player willing to learn and grow and collaborate with like-minded professionals This is a fantastic opportunity for graduate or experienced teachers who want to step out of the mainstream classroom and find a greater purpose in their careers.
