Special Education Teacher (2025 Contract)

Teacher (Special Education) - 2025 contract position Suneden is an Independent specialist school catering for students with intellectual and physical disabilities aged 5-19. 
Suneden is a leader in providing specialist education to students with disabilities. An exciting opportunity exists for a Teacher to join our team of dedicated staff. This position is a full-time temporary/ fixed term contract until end of 2025. There may be an opportunity for a further employment beyond 2024.
Key Responsibilities Detailed planning and implementation of learning programs that include differentiation for students with disabilities in line with the Australian curriculum.Effective classroom management and organisational skills including ability to support students with self regulation.Promoting the ethos of the school including the Suneden 5 values.Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and staff.Competency in record keeping.Excellence in report writing.Ability to work collaboratively with other staff contributing as a proactive and engaged member of a professional learning community.Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Essential Skills/Qualifications Tertiary Degree in Education (Special Education qualification preferred).Current Teacher Registration with Teachers Registration Board SA. Experience working with students with Intellectual disabilities and Autism.First Aid Certificate.High level of attention to detail.Competent ICT skills.Remuneration Remuneration will be determined according to your experience in relation to the Suneden Enterprise Agreement.
