Brisbane Dispute Resolution & Litigation Legal Full time The role Due to the recent additional of a new partner and our continued growth in the Brisbane office we are searching for a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to join our Litigation & Dispute Resolution. This role will see you working across a range of commercial litigation, construction, and related dispute matters. You will:
lead all work streams related to commercial litigation, including conducting thorough investigations, drafting pleadings, managing document discovery, taking witness statements and preparing evidence; provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters. This includes preparing, advising, and negotiating various agreements such as licensing, sponsorship, IP commercialisation, and indemnity agreements; lead general commercial disputes including contractual disputes, professional negligence, insurance related matters and regulatory proceedings; provide whole-of-project support and advice to companies in the construction and infrastructure sector, resolve complex construction and engineering disputes using adjudication, mediation, arbitration; and advise on construction and infrastructure project delivery options, contract risks, contract management, and contract administration. The team Our high performing, collegiate Dispute Resolution and Litigation team in Brisbane is looking for a driven individual with commercial litigation experience to play a senior role in our team. This practice group has been described in The Legal 500 Asia as "A top performer in the corporate and commercial litigation space" with supervising Partners for this role being recognised in Best Lawyers in Australia, 2025 edition . Our reputation and growth in this area has been built on our proven ability to resolve large-scale, complex commercial litigation disputes, whether via court judgment or otherwise.

About you Extensive experience in a wide variety of high-value commercial disputes and other litigation. At least 8 years of experience in a similar position, ideally supporting a team in a law firm or professional services environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A proactive and collaborative approach to work.
