Are you an accomplished Property Lawyer with partnership ambition at a national firm? Approach Consulting are excited to be working with this top, national law firm, renowned for providing top-tier legal services to clients across various sectors, including Federal Government to find their next potential Property law partner.
This firm is particularly interested in Partner/Director, Special Counsel or Senior Associate level candidates savvy enough to grow an established, organic property practice with focus on Federal Government clients.
The Role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in property law, commercial leasing, conveyancing, and working with Federal Government clients. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of sectors, develop client relationships, and contribute to the growth and success of our client's property law practice.
Key Responsibilities. Provide expert legal advice and services in all aspects of property law, with a focus on commercial leasing, conveyancing, typically with Federal Government clients. Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, leases, and agreements. Manage and oversee property transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and leases. Liaise with clients, including federal government agencies, to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions. Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Stay updated on relevant legislation, industry trends, and best practices in property law. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to business development and client retention efforts. Key Requirements. 7+ PQE in property law - experience acting for Federal Government clients is ideal. Demonstrated expertise in commercial leasing, conveyancing, and working with federal government clients. Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under pressure. Experience in mentoring and supervising junior lawyers and support staff. A proactive and client-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering exceptional legal services. Does this sound like you?
