We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate to Senior Associate to join our Construction, Projects & Infrastructure team working with highly regarded Partner, Alice Chen . Due to the flexible way we work, this role can be based in Sydney or Canberra .
About the work and the team With a focus on construction contracts and procurement, this role will see you assisting a range of high-profile clients, including State and Commonwealth Government on major infrastructure projects around Australia. Travel for projects occurs from time to time.
The work focuses on providing whole of project support including strategic advice on structuring and project delivery, drafting procurement documents including contracts, reviewing scoping documents, procurement support, tender evaluation and negotiations, and finalisation of contracts through to contract administration.
The projects are some of the most complex and high value in this space – due to the confidential nature of these projects, details will be provided to the successful candidate.
You will work alongside an Industry leading Partner who is an exceptional people leader who will invest in your growth, development, and technical ability and provide support and mentoring in career progression.

About you You will have 4+ years' experience gained at a well-regarded mid to top-tier firm or in-house and as a senior team member you will be encouraged to mentor and lead junior lawyers.
Experience in construction, projects, and infrastructure is desirable; applicants with Government contracts/procurement experience are also encouraged to apply.
Due to client clearance requirements, the ability to pass a national police check and the ability and willingness to obtain a Baseline Clearance is essential.
