Based in Bundamba, Queensland and reporting to the Support Supply Chain Manager, you will support the Deployable Health Centre in the monitoring, management and procurement of Spares and Consumables utilized in the Deployable Health Capability Mission System.
In addition, you'll propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of Supply Chain Logistics.

As part of your specific responsibilities, you will: Manage the inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.Maintain stock levels of items required for performing maintenance activities.Monitor demand and analyze data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.Report on inventory levels, supply chain progress, and procedural efficiency.Utilize the Defence Logistics Information System to monitor demand and document characteristics of inventory.Ensure orders are placed to replenish stock, avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus.Communicate with stakeholders regarding demands, inbound and outbound deliveries, as well as delays.Provide support to the Supply Chain Team as required.About youYour skills and experience will include: Over 5 years of Logistic Support, Product, and Inventory Management experience.Experience working with inventory management software and forecasting strategies.Experience conducting tracking and data analysis.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.The ability to work with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional teamwork and problem-solving skills.Previous experience in Defence Logistics Systems (MILIS/ERP) preferred.Hold a current Forklift Licence.As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
