Guest reviews and industry acknowledgement reflect TWG's consistent high performance, showcased through consecutive State and National tourism awards, including three consecutive Gold Australian Tourism Awards for eco-tourism, and induction into the Australian Tourism Hall of Fame in 2017.Today TWG share staff and resources, as well as a commitment to a shared mission - to provide superb, guided journeys out of everyday life into wild land and seascapes; and the shared values of – belonging, genuine fun, wowing guests, environmental and cultural integrity, simplicity, and passionate leadership.About the role:We have 2 exciting casual opportunities for a Spa Therapist who wants to provide the highest possible standard of service and treatment to guests through a unique, nurturing, and holistic experience.We offer spa and relaxation services exclusively to guests partaking in The Bay of Fires Lodge Walk based near Ansons Bay on the North East Coast of Tasmania. Here you will experience true communion with nature, combining simplicity and an off-grid lifestyle.Spend 5 days out (5 days on, 9 days off on a rotating basis) on the East Coast, providing massage and some spa rituals. In between services and spa-related operations, you will assist in our eco-lodge with operational needs and some light housekeeping tasks.This Position Starts in mid-September and runs through May, with pre-season training starting from September 12th.What you will bring:To succeed as a TWG Spa Therapist, you will have the ability to provide an outstanding experience that guests will remember for a lifetime, which is achieved by establishing excellent rapport and ensuring guests feel comfortable and welcome in the spa.The ideal candidates for this role will meet these essential requirements:1+ years' experience working in a similar role or industry preferred.Be flexible and adaptable with a high level of professionalism and well-presented.Experienced with using online booking systems and schedules (Fresha System preferred)Possess effective communication, rapport building skills and organizational skills.Be self-motivated, reliable, autonomous, resilient and comfortable working alone.Able to travel to and work in a remote locationInspired and excited by off-grid infrastructure and motivated to uphold and maintain the spa's overall appearance.Have a passion for outdoors, wellbeing, and wilderness experiencesFor this role you are expected to hold, maintain & renew:Cert IV or Diploma in Beauty or Massage (or equivalent)Provide First Aid: HLTAID011 (must be current)Provide CPR: HLTAID009 (must be current within 1 year)Why work for us:Accommodation and meals provided when working.Established employee wellbeing program (Employee Assistance Program)Family & friends discounts across our walking products.Exclusive pro-deals program for access to discounted adventure gear.
