Southern Support Workers required - RemoteCommunity Care Tasmania is a not for profit focusing on providing compassionate care and support, enabling our clients to thrive at home with dignity. We are seeking dedicated and qualified support workers in all areas across Tasmania to provide one-on-one home care support to clients accessing Aged Care or NDIS services.
In this role, you will work closely with clients to assist them in continuing to live in their own homes. You will be part of a growing and exciting team and supported with enthusiastic training and administrative support. You will be part of a team that cares and puts its clients first. The dynamic nature of our services, coupled with the chance to work with multiple clients, guarantees regular opportunities for you to contribute significantly.
Duties Daily living tasksSupport mobility and transfersFacilitate community outingsPromote and encourage independenceSupport and manage challenging behavioursMaintain accurate documentation and monitor client behaviourEngage in ongoing training essential to the role.About you We are looking for caring individuals with attributes such as attention to detail, excellent communication, empathy, and integrity. Our staff are understanding and patient toward the needs of others and want to make a difference in people's lives.
