This role is a Permanent position on 9-day fortnight - DIDO to our Boddington Mine , located a short drive from the community of Boddington (10 minutes), Pinjarra (50 minutes) and the City of Mandurah (1 hour).
As the Assurance Specialist , you will support the department in delivering high performance and consistently improving outcomes ensuring safe and sustainable delivery of the Business Plan & relevant performance metrics in the pillars of Risk, Safety, People, Production & Cost.
Key Responsibilities: Execute and support investigations in accordance with South32's Risk Management policies and investigation methodologies. Support the sustainable implementation and delivery of the Production Operations Management Operating System (MOS) and Improvement Plan. Support budgeting and cost management process for the department. Work collaboratively with Superintendents to build a safe, inclusive culture that looks to improve every day. Govern process standards, procedures, and work instructions. Analyse performance and benchmark to identify improvements that will deliver the most value. ABOUT YOU
You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Demonstrated proficiency with MS office suite - Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Safety and risk reduction mindset, inclusiveness, operating discipline and improvement focus. Coordinate work of project teams of specialists or professionals. Ability to communicate with a high standard and lead group discussions. Risk and safety management, reporting, analysis and improvement. Qualifications for this position are: Specific operational experience, skills and knowledge of mining operations is desirable. Experience in data analysis, interrogation and developing actionable plans to achieve business outcomes will be highly regarded.
