Due to their continued growth, our client is seeking experienced planners who are passionate about product to help drive the financial performance of designated merchandise departments.
Your responsibilities will include: Collaborate with buyers on size, colour, and product analysis, updating OTB as necessary.Manage aged stock and clearance inventory, preparing markdown summaries.OTB Management.Conduct in-season performance reviews and recommend re-plans to enhance profitability.Optimize inventory management strategies by effective allocation of products, monitoring stock levels, retail prices, and margins.Ensure merchandise financial plans remain within business expectations and KPIs.Collaborate with Buyers to provide analytical support and develop strategies based on budget and forecast.Work with the allocations team to ensure the right amount of stock levels in stores at the right time.Plan and execute promotional events / marketing campaigns.About You Extensive merchandise planning experience in a fast-paced retail environment.Exceptional retail and commercial acumen.Proven track record in managing financial performance and creating accurate product plans.Advanced Excel and analytical skills with high attention to detail.Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and partner with stakeholders at all levels.Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment, knowledgeable in identifying, interpreting, and responding to customer behaviour trends.Expertise in using merchandise planning systems and business intelligence tools.Are you interested in hearing more?
