We are currently seeking a Sous Chef to join the busy production kitchen brigade. This will be a hands-on role based on a 7-day rotating roster. This senior role will see you leading the kitchen team in the Head Chef's absence, so it is suitable for a senior chef looking to step up in a renowned venue.

A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef/culinary leadership roleExperience in a high-volume a la carte restaurant, buffet, or hotel with similar standards focused on quality food productionPositive leadership abilities with the capacity to lead by exampleInterest in menu development for an international cuisine buffetBasic computer skills including Word, Excel, and emailSound knowledge of OH&S, HACCP, par levels, stock control, ordering, and stock takingA desire to learn and develop under highly experienced Chefs within the Trippas White GroupClear and precise communication skills, both written and oralImmaculate grooming and a good standard of personal hygieneA strong understanding of food and labour cost controlsMotivated with the ability to make decisions under pressure within a fully operational kitchenFlexible availability - 7-day rotating roster with lunch and dinner shifts#J-18808-Ljbffr
