Position Overview:
As a Sous Chef at Pavilion Geelong, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations. This includes menu development, maintaining food quality and presentation, ensuring kitchen efficiency, and mentoring junior staff. You will be instrumental in maintaining our high culinary standards and contributing to the overall success of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of kitchen operations Help create and execute innovative and seasonal menus Maintain the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation Ensure compliance with food safety regulations Oversee stock levels, ordering, and supplier management Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and time management Ability to work in a fast-paced environment A passion for creating high-quality dishes Food safety certification and a solid understanding of kitchen hygiene standards How to Apply:
