Job Title: Sous ChefLocation: Tamworth, NSWSalary: $74,000 + Super
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily food preparation, ensuring compliance with our high standards of quality.
Implement management instructions and incorporate customer feedback into daily operations.
Estimate daily production needs, monitor food quality, and forecast short-term requirements.
Maintain the highest standards of food preparation and presentation, while supervising team members.
Train junior staff on menu items, recipes, and preparation methods.
Contribute to menu development based on trends, customer feedback, and cost considerations.
Adhere to food handling, storage, and hygiene standards.
Set an example of personal hygiene and cleanliness, both on and off duty.
Collect and discuss daily feedback with Directors to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in Hospitality Management and Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef.
Strong product knowledge and experience in managing staff and stock control.
Ability to maintain consistency and work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Availability to work weekends.
