Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food production meets the highest standards of quality and presentation.
This position requires strong leadership abilities, a commitment to hospitality, and a deep understanding of food preparation techniques.
As a Sous Chef, you will help foster a positive and productive environment for the kitchen staff while delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff.
Oversee food production and ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Help train and mentor kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
Contribute to menu development by providing creative input and suggestions.
Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation.
Assist with scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during service hours.
Experience
Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food production techniques.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn new culinary skills.
Familiarity with various cuisines is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
