This role offers a salary of $75-80k in a supportive, well-structured kitchen environment.
As a Sous Chef, you'll play a key role in maintaining culinary standards, mentoring staff, and contributing to menu development in a dynamic club that values its employees.
Position Description
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth service delivery.
Help with menu development and dish presentation.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Ensure stock levels are managed and food cost targets are met.
Assist in the training and development of junior kitchen staff.
Position Requirements
Experience in a similar Sous Chef role, preferably within a club or high-volume venue.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with stock management and menu costing.
