We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to play a pivotal role supporting the day-to-day catering operations at Perth Zoo! The Position: Play a pivotal role supporting the day-to-day catering operations. Plan and execute a seasonal grab n' go and à la carte menus, drawing upon local providers for inspiration. Provide onsite catering while offering support to the function and events operation. Mentor an eager team of culinary enthusiasts. Manage stock control and budget, including labour and wastage. Champion our safety-first culture. Be flexible in delivering menus according to dietary requirements. The Person: Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery. Previous experience as a leader and enjoys creating a positive work culture. Culinary background in restaurants, functions, and events. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
