About Country Club Tasmania: Located 10 minutes from the Launceston City, Country Club Tasmania offers a wide variety of entertainment spaces, food and beverage outlets and is the preferred accommodation of several Tasmanian and interstate businesses.
Surrounded by beautiful bushland, native wildlife, and an 18-hole golf course currently undergoing extensive renovations, Country Club hosts 7 different dining options from café/ pizzeria to fine dining.
What you can expect in a day in the role: As a full-time Sous chef, you will have an enthusiastic and passionate attitude towards food while providing customers with a memorable experience.
Working in a team that delivers made-to-order meals that are quick, fresh, and ignite the taste buds of our guests.
You will: Bring a playful and unique approach to cooking.
Help lead and inspire other chefs Assist in creating "picture-worthy" dishes Contribute to the day-to-day running of the kitchen Support the refinement of menus, including planning and execution Manage and oversee inventory and ordering processes Maintain and ensure high standards of kitchen hygiene and safety What you will bring to this role: Along with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, you will have: Dedication to provide an exceptional culinary experience for guests Relevant trade qualifications (Certificate III In commercial cookery or above) Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills Demonstrated skills in training and coaching others and strong supervisory experience Flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster Australian working rights that allow at least full time hours across a varying roster What you can expect from us:   Country Club Is a part of Federal Group and offers: Staff discounts across Federal Hospitality properties Access to hundreds of discounts across many brands, helping you save on everyday expenses, including phone bills, fuel and groceries, fashion, restaurants, and entertainment Free Parking onsite and fully laundered and tailored staff uniform Free Meal on every shift Supportive work environment with learning and development opportunities Interested?
