Crafty's Harbour Town has changed the hospitality landscape on the Northern end of the Gold Coast. With a huge focus on our people and a positive culture, this role is a great opportunity for a career-minded chef that wants to work in a great kitchen environment.
We are looking for a Strong and Passionate SOUS CHEF to join in the execution of a large-scale kitchen operation on the northern end of the Gold Coast. The successful candidates MUST have a passion for hospitality, be highly organised, a team player, and able to bring a positive attitude.
Crafty's is a market leader in its unique offering in a fun casual category, serving some of the best premium casual fare on the Gold Coast and delivering top-notch service. This role will suit someone who is passionate and wants to take their career to higher levels, working closely with a fantastic Head Chef and our Group Exec Chef.
The Role:

Working in a fast-paced, high volume environment with a strong focus on delivering consistently high standards through every service.
Highly organised and can plan and execute services on Head Chef days off.
Resilient, quick thinking & proactive.
Part of a large team that has a strong focus on positivity and balance in the workplace.

To be successful you must have:

Tertiary qualifications are essential.
Minimum of one year experience in a similar role.
Solid knowledge and experience in running a kitchen and leading a medium-sized brigade on Head Chef days off.
Experience in high volume production of food and fast-paced service periods.
Excellent leadership skills.
Multilingual language skills are an advantage.
Ability to work a flexible roster.
The ability to work quickly, cleanly, and efficiently.
Strong understanding of OH&S.
Able to give direction and guidance to junior staff effectively.
A positive attitude.
