This hands-on role is a chance to lead by example, contribute to menu innovation, and ensure every plate leaves a lasting impression.
Your key responsibilities may include:Collaborate with the Head Chef and key stakeholders to craft menus that delight across all service periods, elevating the guest experience.Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to source the finest ingredients, ensuring every dish meets our exacting standards.Play a key role in driving financial and operational goals through effective cost control and management strategies.Maintain impeccable kitchen standards and procedures, ensuring consistency and quality at every turn.Oversee the onboarding, training, and development of The Inchcolm kitchen team.Lead by example in taking a proactive and hands-on approach, guiding the team with passion and positivity.Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Sous Chef or a Junior Sous Chef in a high-end or boutique hotel setting.Exceptional culinary skills and deep knowledge of kitchen operations, with proficiency across all sections.Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and successful completion of a cookery apprenticeship.Food Safety Supervisor certification and a commitment to maintaining the highest food safety standards.At EVT, we want our people to experience our businesses and be brand and experience advocates.
