The Role As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences by preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that highlight local ingredients and flavors. You'll help manage the kitchen operations and ensure that every meal, whether served in our indoor restaurant or outdoor dining settings, meets our high standards of quality and taste.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations and menu execution Prepare and present dishes with a focus on local ingredients and regional flavors Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards Help manage inventory, ordering, and food costs to ensure efficient kitchen operations Work effectively within a team environment Assist in stock control and monitoring wastage Liaise with suppliers About You In order to be successful in this role you will need:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen environment Formal trade qualifications in commercial cooking or equivalent experience Proven experience in electronic purchase ordering and cost management Proven experience in planning and developing menus Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously Ability to prep and organise ahead Current First Aid Certificate is highly desirable HACCP experience essential, with a high emphasis on food hygiene Current drivers license.
