HSW is on the lookout for a Full-time Chef de Partie or Sous Chef  to join our dynamic kitchen team at Fish 'n' Chipper .
In this role you will support the Head Chef to ensure that the highest standards of service and cleanliness are maintained in the kitchens and contribute to a strong kitchen team.

50% team discount precinct wide Development opportunities/career pathways Wellbeing initiatives including team yoga, run club, mindfulness sessions and access to independent confidential counselling services Team recognition rewards Extra week of annual leave after 5 years of service What we're looking for: Ability to cut sashimi sushi-style or nigiri-style is  essential  for this role Undeniable pride for creating and delivering consistent, high-quality produce Previous experience working on cold larder and fryer section is desirable Experience in fast-paced fish and chip kitchens is  desirable  A positive and collaborative team player Open to learning and ready for growth The ability to commence work as soon as possible Work collaboratively with others Strong desire to pursue a career in this industry Must have own form of transportation due to late finishes Responsibilities include: Preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food items within the fish and chip kitchen section Ensuring food quality and presentation standards are consistently met Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, following food safety and hygiene standards Assisting in daily kitchen operations, including stock management and ordering Supporting and guiding junior kitchen staff as needed Collaborating closely with the Head Chef and team to create a positive, productive work environment Bringing creativity and dedication to the kitchen, contributing to menu development and special events If you're a culinary professional who is passionate about fresh ingredients, loves working with seafood, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
