ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently searching for a dedicated and motivated Sous Chef to join our close-knit team on a full-time basis at our venue, Breakers Country Club, located in Wamberal, NSW!
As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day kitchen operation whilst ensuring the highest safety standards and high-quality meals are prepared for our customers to ensure we continue to create memorable guest experiences.
More specifically, your duties will include but are not limited to:

Supervision of staff engaged across Kitchen operations both Front and Back of House, including training and development
Coordination of rosters to ensure operational needs are met
Ensure continuous improvement of our service delivery
Attend and manage any staff complaints and customer complains
Ensure compliance of hygiene standards as set out within the HACCP standards
Ensure high customer services standards are always maintained
Monitor stock levels and complete appropriate rotation of stock
Assist with planning of menus

ABOUT YOU
To be successful for this role, you should ideally have the following:

Previous experience working in and leading in a high-volume kitchen
Hold a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
Hold a current Food Handling and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Outstanding communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Well organised and have a strong customer focus
Availability to work a flexible roster which may include days, nights, weekends and public holidays
