At Western Power we're working towards our vision for a clean energy future and we're looking for diverse, passionate people to join our team of world leading experts.We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sourcing Specialist at our Perth CBD location, on a permanent full-time basis.About this roleAs the Sourcing Specialist you will be responsible for increasing value by improving safety, service, quality and compliance outcomes whilst reducing risk and costs across Western Power portfolio of contracts. This portfolio includes Emerging and Corporate Technology contracts (such as power generation, Standalone Power Systems, ICT/IT services/hardware/software, batteries and other new technologies) and works alongside other sourcing and category professionals.This also includes executing the sourcing strategy and the formation and execution of commercially suitable agreements to maximise the value derived from the contracts. This is achieved by providing sustainable solutions that meet Western Power's business objectives.Additional responsibilities include:Responsible for medium/high risk source to contract activities to achieve the best commercial outcome for Western Power.
