As Sourcing Specialist, you will be pivotal in enhancing supply chain efficiency and cost management for our operations in Australia and New Zealand focusing on transportation, logistics, and engineering services. This position is designed for an ambitious professional eager to grow in the area of business sourcing. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, lead negotiations & sourcing strategies that will contribute to Air Liquide's ambition of achieving innovative, responsive, and customer-focused service excellence in the gas sector. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Sourcing Strategy Development: Partner with internal stakeholders to assess business needs and develop sourcing plans and strategies focusing on transportation, logistic services, and engineering services. Market Analysis and Strategic Supplier Relationship Development: Conduct market research, supplier evaluation, performance management, and analytical studies to identify and select optimal suppliers that will deliver to the business objectives. End-to-End Sourcing Execution: Manage the full sourcing process including business partnering to the business and operations, sourcing process, supplier engagement, negotiations, and contracting to ensure alignment with business plans and category strategies. Contract and Supplier Management: Lead contract negotiations including contract drafting, ensuring compliance and high performance of suppliers, managing supplier risk and relationships, building strategic supplier relationships, and issue resolutions with suppliers. Stakeholder Collaboration and Management: Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders at various levels, influencing decisions and gaining commitment to collaboratively achieve sourcing and business objectives. This includes issue resolutions with cross-functions to drive continuous improvement and performance culture in the organization. Are you a MATCH? Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field. 3-5 years experience in procurement or sourcing. Road transport and logistics experience preferred. Technical Skills: Proficient in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract management is needed. Familiar with matrix organizational structures is an advantage. Analytical Abilities: Comfortable with data analytics and strong research skills to evaluate spend, market, suppliers, able to do business analysis and present business cases and/or recommendations. Interpersonal Skills: Strong negotiations and influencing skills, relationship building skills, ability to navigate ambiguity and resilience in problem solving. Problem Solving Skills: Ability to manage competing priorities and make/drive decision making or judgments in complex situations.
