Sourcing Officer

The University is seeking an experienced Senior Sourcing Officer to take charge of their procurement and contract sourcing functions.
This 12-month contract presents a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering procurement solutions that support the university's objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring best practice in sourcing and contract management.Provide expert advice and strategic guidance on procurement and contract sourcing to internal stakeholders.Collaborate with various university departments to drive sourcing initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.Prepare and deliver relevant reports to management and business units to support informed decision-making.Ensure compliance with university and government procurement regulations and policies.Key Requirements: Strong background in procurement, contract sourcing, and strategic vendor management.Demonstrated experience in leading sourcing programs and providing expert advice on procurement matters.Ability to work within a structured, bureaucratic environment - experience within government or university sectors is highly desirable.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.Experience with reporting, data analysis, and providing insights to senior management to guide decision-making. #J-18808-Ljbffr
