We're seeking an experienced Sourcing Analyst to join the Procurement team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is central to delivering financial modelling which supports go-to-market activities for the procurement of goods and services across Crown Resorts in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. You'll work with a broad range of teams to assist in implementing effective go-to-market strategies (RFX), develop a deep understanding in various significant-spend categories, and utilise your influence and engagement skills with various business stakeholders, including the Group Procurement and Supply Chain departments to achieve outcomes in line with the business objectives. Some of your responsibilities will include:
Using quantitative and qualitative techniques to deliver high quality analysis and recommendations about supplier opportunities Recommending strategies for stakeholders by performing analysis of procurement options Assisting in the drafting of RFXs and participating in targeted negotiations Writing reports detailing analysis results and recommendations (modern slavery, saving, spending etc) Maintaining Category level information repository Vendor identification, reviews, and qualifications Providing ad hoc analysis and reporting Performing external market assessments Coordinating RFI (Request for Information) activities to support external supply market assessments Assisting with the development of RFX scoring models and sourcing initiatives Supporting the RFX end-to-end process when needed Researching potential new suppliers
We're looking for someone that has:
Ability to conduct data analysis and can analyse complex information quickly Quick learning skills to understand new business models (suppliers/vendors) A confident and professional approach when presenting analysis and findings Excellent communication and influencing skills, especially when translating data to stakeholders Proven ability in maintaining accurate data, data governance, with a focus on data governance procedures Demonstrated experience and working knowledge of Power BI, SQL or other enterprise database Tech savviness, with strong working experience using Microsoft Excel Ability to obtain all required Casino Special Employee Licenses
