Pakenham, West Gippsland & Latrobe Valley VICBond Radiology is seeking a full-time Sonographer to join our team in Pakenham, Warragul, Moe & South Gippsland in VIC. As a Sonographer, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare in a supportive and collaborative environment.What you'll be doingPerforming a range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, vascular and musculoskeletal scansInterpreting and evaluating ultrasound images to provide accurate diagnosesCommunicating findings to referring physicians in a clear and concise mannerMaintaining detailed patient records and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and proceduresCollaborating with the broader healthcare team to deliver coordinated and patient-centred careParticipating in continuing professional development to stay up-to-date with industry advancementsWhat we're looking forDegree or diploma in Medical Sonography or equivalent qualificationCurrent ASMIRT (Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy) registrationMinimum 2 years' experience as a Sonographer in a clinical settingStrong technical skills in operating ultrasound equipment and interpreting imagesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with patients and healthcare professionalsAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamCommitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred careThis role is not suitable for Trainee sonographersWhat we offerCompetitive remuneration packageOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesSupportive and collegial work environmentEmployee health and wellbeing initiativesOpportunities for career progressionAbout usBond Radiology is a leading provider of diagnostic medical imaging services in the Pakenham, Warragul, Moe & South Gippsland region.
