We are seeking an experienced O&G full-time Sonographer for a permanent position in the Mater Centre for Maternal Fetal Medicine at the Mater Mothers Hospital.
Renowned as a leading specialist maternity hospital, the Mater Centre for Maternal Fetal Medicine provides a comprehensive range of obstetric ultrasound services and acts as a tertiary referral centre for Queensland and northern NSW for complex cases and fetal therapy.
As a Mater professional, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic O&G ultrasound examinations with the utmost professionalism and competency and completing a comprehensive examination for each patient in a timely manner as required. The role also involves teaching ultrasound skills to new staff and medical officers as required.

Accreditation with ASAR as a Medical SonographerExtensive experience in obstetrical and gynaecological ultrasound examinations, with tertiary experience an additional advantageEvidence of effective communication, initiative and clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient careAbility to work as a leader and team member within a multi-disciplinary health care teamClinical teaching skills in O&G ultrasoundMater is Queensland's largest and most innovative not-for-profit healthcare service, providing care for almost 700,000 patients a year across a network of 11 hospitals.
